Contentment

Sigh.

What and absolutely marvelous day.
I really wasn't sure what kind of day three hours of sleep would bring, but it was a good night and made for a decent day.
Was sick to my stomach again and that wasn't pleasant, but it passed.
My littlest ones were the most eager and thus the biggest help in getting to school.
Got Sarah out to her activity somewhat on time. Picked up Hav from his night out. He made them breakfast and spent the morning beating the devil in GH. He really wants to try Rock Banding. May have to re-think that one. Positive channel is not necessarily a bad thing.

Had to go pick up the forgotten stuff from TKD and I thought about just disappearing for the morning. I still feel really bad about abandoning Tanya completely. I thought I'd face the music and went back to help for lunch. It was Gabriel Mistral birthday, a very good day to be at the school. I'm glad I went back.
Spent time alone after lunch before the final bell, reading on my bench enjoying the sunshine. And drinking a wonderful new SB specialty concoction of some kind Carmel something or other.
It was very tasty.
Interesting thing this morning. The one thing I don't like about helping with lunch is that huge coffee thing. It makes my head hurt and my stomach turn being that close to it. There was a coffee problem today and it came out looking more like weak tea. Did some macgyvering and go it recirculating. When she took the lid off, all of a sudden it smelled absolutely amazing to me. I have never ever ever liked the smell of coffee. And it was like someone flipped a switch. It smelled so good. They were calling it Black Gold. Very strong and apparently very good coffee.
Very unusual, that is. Even when I went into SB, it still smelled so good in there.

After school, the sun was shining and decided to go make some memories and play our game. Park hoping. They all seem to love it. Had one missing, but went anyway.
They picked close to my spot so I headed that direction until they said stop. Went for a walk over by highlevel. Looking at the river and running for a bit. Thought twice about Leg. and instead they picked a park by Grandin I think. They had fun.
Of course what happens the moment we are in middle of nowhere? Someone has to go.
Found a wonderful little Italian place open. Met the owner and everything.Wonderful guy named Leo. They all said thank you to him and he gave them fresh baked double chocolate cookies. Nice place. Definitely one I have to go back to. Zuppa's I think. Get in touch with those Italian roots.
Very friendly. See what happens when you use your manners.

We played there for awhile. Spent alot of time on the swings laughing. I haven't been on a swing in years. Never mind throwing my head back and watching the sky zoom closer and away. Feeling my stomach leap into my throat. Laughing the whole time. Being a kid again.
It was alot of fun. Good to let go.
They wanted a second hop, so headed further up on the other side of Jasper somewhere by Oliver is where she decided to stop.
They played and I read. Until weather started to change. Then time to leave. Got home just at the rain was starting to hit.
Now it is definitely time for a nap.

Game starts in mere hours, and I need sleep before that.
My arms are hurting from that contest on the swings.
I am really out of shape. But I did win

I am so tired, but what an amazing day.
